About Priority Optometry

Care First, Targets Never

Priority Optometry began with a simple question: What would eye care look like if it were built entirely around the patient, not a retail sales target?

For years, many patients have experienced healthcare that feels rushed—stepping into an optometrist’s chair only to be hurried through tests or felt pushed toward frames and lenses they didn’t actually need. We wanted to create a fundamentally different experience.

We founded Priority Optometry as an independent, patient-centered practice where your vision and long-term eye health always come first. Here, your optometrist takes the time to thoroughly examine your eyes, listen to your concerns, explain every result clearly in plain English, and recommend solutions tailored specifically to your lifestyle.

Trusted Care in Partnership with EyeCare Plus Keperra

To bring even greater value to our local community, Priority Optometry operates as an official EyeCare Plus Keperra partner. This partnership allows us to combine the warmth and personal attention of an independent neighborhood practice with access to premier optical technology, top-tier lens options, and extensive clinical resources.

Advanced Technology with Local Warmth

Today, we bring state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, comprehensive bulk-billed eye examinations, and specialist myopia management to Keperra and surrounding Brisbane suburbs. Whether it’s a child’s very first vision screening or ongoing management for complex adult conditions, we treat every patient who walks through our doors with the warmth and care we would offer our own family.

Owner & Director

Mohammed Al Soudani

“I opened Priority Optometry because I believe everyone deserves healthcare that puts them first. I am not an optometrist, and I do not need to be. My job is to make sure the clinic has the best people and the right equipment, and that nothing gets between you and good care. Samaneh and the team look after your eyes. I look after making sure they have the time and tools to do it well.”

Our Team

Meet the team

Dr Samaneh Delshad

Lead Optometrist

Samaneh leads our clinical team and our myopia management service. She holds a PhD in myopia management from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where her research looked at how the human eye responds to blurred vision, including changes in eye length and the choroid, the layer of blood vessels behind the retina. That work has been published in international journals including PLOS ONE and Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics.

Samaneh is also a clinical supervisor at QUT, teaching and mentoring the next generation of optometrists. She combines current research with hands-on care, especially for children with fast-changing short-sightedness.

Samaneh is passionate about early detection, clear communication and helping children keep their vision healthy for life.
